Nottingham Playhouse required a design for artwork to promote the theatre adaptation of Skellig
The Winner of the Whitbread Children’s Book of the Year tells the tale of 12-year-old Michael who discovers a strange, decrepit creature, Skellig, hidden amongst the dust, dead insects and junk of the crumbling garage of his new house.
The artwork shows what at first glance looks like an ornate pattern but is actually made up of elements featured in the story such as owls, aspirin and woodlouse.
